Inspired by the same book title, Motherless Daughters, this group is committed to bringing together motherless daughters by encouraging healing among them, providing insight and compassion and offering strength and hope through promoting awareness about the long-lasting effects of such a loss. I should start by saying about a year ago a woman started a group with the same name. It has since been disbanded, I do not know why. I want to start the group again. I am in Hudson County, New Jersey, but the meetings can be held anywhere. Probably in NYC is best. Or if it takes off, we can alternate meetups: one time in New Jersey and another in New York.
